Offering secure products and keeping them secure has highest priority.

HiOS as of v10.0.0 has closed a security vulnerability. For this the mechanism for file download was changed.

According to this also in Industrial HiVision as of v8.4.0 the mechanism for file download per MultiConfig was changed.

As result download via MultiConfig works either with

- HiOS < v10.0 with IHV < v8.4.0 or

- HiOS as of v10.0 with IHV as of v8.4.0.

If you can do without MultiConfig, you still can use other combinations of HiOS and IHV.

Hirschmann generally recommends to use current firmware and software.
