Bobcat devices are equipped with a USB-C interface.
The USB-C interface is used for serial console, bulk device as well as ACA.
During boot up the serial interface is not available yet that's why you can't enter sysMon1 like on other HiOS devices.
To enter sysMon1 you need to switch the device into recovery mode.
-Autoconfiguration Adapter ACA22-USB-C
-USB-C to USB-A adapter (optional)
-Firmware file named as firmware.bin
-Terminal application (e.g. tera term or putty)
Copy a firmware file e.g. HiOS-BRS-07402.bin to the ACA and rename it to firmware.bin
Plug the ACA with the firmware.bin file into an BRS
Switch on the BRS. If the BRS is already on, reboot it.
Follow the boot process and observe the LEDs.
After the ACA LED lights up remove and replug the power supply.
This needs to be repeated 3 times. Then the BRS comes up in Recovery mode.
You have successfully entered recovery mode if the Status LED alternately flashes red and green.
The attached video file shows the entire procedure.
Remove the ACA and plug in the serial cable.
Open a terminal application e.g. putty and select the appropriate COM port.
