You can find the following new features in this version.

  • Classic WebView: SHA1/TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 algorithm handling

    • The SHA1/TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 algorithms are deprecated and have been succeeded by newer algorithms. Devices or servers with older software sometimes still use the deprecated algorithms. Therefore Classic WebView supports these deprecated algorithms, if the usage of the newer algorithms is not possible.

    • To no longer support the usage of the deprecated algorithms, please follow the instructions in chapter "SHA1/TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 algorithm handling" of the manual.

  • Explorer - Integrate Hitachi (AFS) devices. Provize® Explorer now scans and discovers Hitachi devices.

  • Planner - Add more static device types. You can now assign several network functions to devices in your topology, such as switch, router, firewall, VPN gateway, edge gateway and WLAN access point.

  • Planner - Basic cable planning. Provize® Explorer now offers cable planning, by selecting the cable medium, cabling method, jacketing and various other options.

  • Explorer - Add device directly by IP. This newly added button lets you add a device to the discovered devices table by manually entering the IPv4 address of a device.
