The serial port of MSP doesn't work. What's wrong?

Please make sure that you use the proper cable. MSP needs a serial cable with an RJ45 connector (with respective pin assignment).
Note that RSP uses the standard Hirschmann serial cable with RJ11 connector.

Serial configuration: 9.6 kbd, 8N1.
